After much stress and hair-pulling, I think I finally am up and running with this new blog! I am not a good blogger, but Im going to give this a try! As I bake more goodies, I will update with pictures! Hope you all enjoy my creations!!!
While preparing for my son's 3rd birthday, I came across a picture of some very cute pirate cookies with instructions on how to make them. (Thanks to pintrest....) I decided I could make them for his party. I researched until I found the best recipe for shortbread cookies and royal icing, then headed to the store for supplies and tools. I made a few changes to the recipe, did a "trial run" with my family and co-workers being the taste-testers.... AND....they were a hit! I now have dozens and dozens of cookie cutters, have made cookies for any occasion and I absolutely LOVE doing this!
